The default option is the best although simple, its the best option because the other options distort the image and effected the overall quality. I was advised that a slight change in colour would be the better option, i thought that the default option is best, as it gives the best quality. it also has a good download speed which is very important on websites, because if it takes to long it would then be ineffective on a website, it also provide good colour resolution and it also depends
what you are using the photograph for if i where to have used it for a black and white book then there would be no point having fantastic colour resolution and on a website it is important to have both good download speed and good colour resolution. i would use a high resolute original image that wouldn't distort for advertising on side of vans.

What is copyright law:

Copyright is a legal concept, enacted by most governments, giving the creator of an original work exclusive rights to it, usually for a limited time. Generally, it is "the right to copy", but also gives the copyright holder the right to be credited for the work, to determine who may adapt the work to other forms, who may perform the work, who may financially benefit from it, and other related rights. It is a form of intellectual property (like the patent, the trademark, and the trade secret) applicable to any expressible form of an idea or information that is substantive and discrete.

For example if was to start my own clothing company and put three stripes on my tops i would get sued because the three stripes are trade marked to Adidas.

what is intellectual property:

Intellectual property (IP) is a legal concept which refers to creations of the mind for which exclusive rights are recognized. Under intellectual property law, owners are granted certain exclusive rights to a variety of intangible assets, such as musical, literary, and artistic works; discoveries and inventions; and words, phrases, symbols, and designs. Common types of intellectual property rights include copyrighttrademarkspatentsindustrial design rightstrade dress, and in some jurisdictions trade secrets.

For example if i was to copy an artists painting he/she could sue me for stealing there work.

My name is Oran and i am reviewing this work and giving feedback.
I think you could possibly stretch parts of another letter and not just the 'G'.

The colours used are very nice and go together well and i like the palm trees in the background and i like the fact that you haven't tried to use too many colours.

These are the changes i made, as you can see i stretched some of the letters.

For this tour dates brochure, i had to create the Umaga logo in adobe illustrate. I made this document on illustrate, had to create individual text boxes for each bits of texts, i had to send the images to the back so that the writing stand outs more, i also made the font colours different so they are more recognizable. i had to save the images as jpeg so i could upload them onto publisher.

I made the logo on adobe illustrator, i made the text by using the type tool and then picked its font, i then adjusted the stroke weight to give it its distinctive outer black lining. I then dragged the G on Umaga so it come under the text, i then got and images of pine trees and turned it black and white and sent it behind the text.
I made the this document in Photoshop, i got images of animals and used the lasso cut tool and dragged the faces on top of the chosen  characters, i then used the blur tool to blur the faces in, and used the text tool to write about the band members. I then lastly put layer masks on the images and used the gradient tool to blend the images together.
