The default option is the best although simple, its the best option because the other options distort the image and effected the overall quality. I was advised that a slight change in colour would be the better option, i thought that the default option is best, as it gives the best quality. it also has a good download speed which is very important on websites, because if it takes to long it would then be ineffective on a website, it also provide good colour resolution and it also depends
what you are using the photograph for if i where to have used it for a black and white book then there would be no point having fantastic colour resolution and on a website it is important to have both good download speed and good colour resolution. i would use a high resolute original image that wouldn't distort for advertising on side of vans.

What is copyright law:
Copyright is a legal concept, enacted by most governments, giving the creator of an original work exclusive rights to it, usually for a limited time. Generally, it is "the right to copy", but also gives the copyright holder the right to be credited for the work, to determine who may adapt the work to other forms, who may perform the work, who may financially benefit from it, and other related rights. It is a form of intellectual property (like the patent, the trademark, and the trade secret) applicable to any expressible form of an idea or information that is substantive and discrete.
For example if was to start my own clothing company and put three stripes on my tops i would get sued because the three stripes are trade marked to Adidas.
what is intellectual property:
Intellectual property (IP) is a legal concept which refers to creations of the mind for which exclusive rights are recognized. Under intellectual property law, owners are granted certain exclusive rights to a variety of intangible assets, such as musical, literary, and artistic works; discoveries and inventions; and words, phrases, symbols, and designs. Common types of intellectual property rights include copyright, trademarks, patents, industrial design rights, trade dress, and in some jurisdictions trade secrets.
For example if i was to copy an artists painting he/she could sue me for stealing there work.

My name is Oran and i am reviewing this work and giving feedback.
I think you could possibly stretch parts of another letter and not just the 'G'.
The colours used are very nice and go together well and i like the palm trees in the background and i like the fact that you haven't tried to use too many colours.

These are the changes i made, as you can see i stretched some of the letters.

For this tour dates brochure, i had to create the Umaga logo in adobe illustrate. I made this document on illustrate, had to create individual text boxes for each bits of texts, i had to send the images to the back so that the writing stand outs more, i also made the font colours different so they are more recognizable. i had to save the images as jpeg so i could upload them onto publisher.
I made the logo on adobe illustrator, i made the text by using the type tool and then picked its font, i then adjusted the stroke weight to give it its distinctive outer black lining. I then dragged the G on Umaga so it come under the text, i then got and images of pine trees and turned it black and white and sent it behind the text.
I made the this document in Photoshop, i got images of animals and used the lasso cut tool and dragged the faces on top of the chosen characters, i then used the blur tool to blur the faces in, and used the text tool to write about the band members. I then lastly put layer masks on the images and used the gradient tool to blend the images together.

For the band logo i will be using Adobe Photoshop to combine a band and a logo using jpeg logo, i will use bitmap to create the logo.
For the van driver i will use a vector file so that it can be blown up and do it on illustrator and then use a vinyl cutter to cut it to size, because its easy to use and comes in a variety of fonts and colours and it has a diamond shaped cutter not making the lettering pixelate.
For the nursery flyer i will use PDF because of their ability to compress large files and self containment. i will use publisher to make the flier, because this allows them to be quickly and easily.

Software: (the following Adobe information was taken from the Adobe website)
Adobe Photoshop
Photoshop is one of the most advanced and versatile programs
available, and most professional Web developers will want to have Photoshop in
their arsenal of tools. Although Photoshop no longer comes bundled with Image
Ready, over the years, many Web graphics features have been included in
Photoshop. Photoshop now provides tools and features for creating GIF
animations, image slicing and optimization, batch processing and automation. It
integrates tightly with Adobe's other products such as Illustrator,
Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, and Go Live.
Adobe Fireworks
A firework was developed from the ground up specifically to
meet the needs of professional Web designers. Fireworks features tight
integration with Macromedia's other products (now owned by Adobe) such as the
vector-based animation tool, Flash and Dreamweaver, a popular Web page editor
among professionals. Fireworks is only capable of working within the RGB colour
environment, so it's not an appropriate choice for working with images intended
for commercial printing. Fireworks integrates tightly with Adobe's other
products such as Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Flash.
Stone Studio
This Web design suite for Mac OS X includes Create, Photo To
Web, PS till, GIFfun, Slice & Dice, Pack up & Go, and Time Equals
Money. Create is the primary Web design component and can be purchased
individually. It offers text and drawing tools, effects, automated Web page
production, content development, and page layout features. Photo to Web allows
you to create Web photo albums and slide shows. GIFfun creates animated
banners. Slice And Dice creates image maps and navigation bars and Companion
tools.
Adobe Photoshop
Elements
Photoshop Elements is built around core elements of the
Adobe Photoshop interface and feature set without the high-end features.
Elements is primarily a tool for photo editing, processing, and enhancement,
but it can also function for creating Web graphics such as buttons, banners,
animations and Web galleries for personal and business use. It's designed
primarily for amateur photographers, digital imaging enthusiasts, and small
business users.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS5
Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 is a website development tool. It
is not a drag and drop program. The books detailing how to use the program are
well over 1,000 pages long.
The tools in the program are extremely powerful, but you
need to devote some serious time to get to know the program. This program has
too many amazing tools to list them all here. This program is not for someone
who does not want to learn some HTML or CSS. The program is complicated, and it
takes a serious amount of time to learn.

Apple USB Super Drive: We are a company we are going to need to produce more than just a few DVDs, although it is handy for the time being because of the size of the company. However in the future
when we hope the company will expand it will very limited.
Xerox Phaser 4600N Mono Laser Printer: The printer is limited because it cant hold as much ink which means a regular change in ink costing us money.
Casio XJ-A131 2000 ANSI Lumens XGA Projector: over time the image will not be as clear, and the bulbs need regular changing costing us money.
